The village of Cedeno in Honduras is slowly being swallowed by the sea due to climate change—fishermen have lost their homes and livelihoods. This coastal erosion phenomenon also threatens thousands of fishing villages in Indonesia, such as in Demak and Semarang. Without serious adaptation, the fate of Indonesian fishermen could follow their counterparts in Honduras.
